"Why we picked HBJD Our choice to utilize HbJD was primarily due to the quality of their work in terms of functionality, durability, and aesthetics. The Design Process Going into the design meeting(s) with Josh, we weren’t exactly sure what type of home we wanted. Josh was helpful in finding us a model home to start with, and morphing it into the perfect home for us based on what we wanted to have in terms of space, # of rooms, stories, etc. By the time the design was finished, we felt immensely more comfortable with the home we had on our horizon. This guided portion of the process was extremely helpful! The fact that it can be done in person or virtual was especially beneficial.
The Build Process Overall, the build process was smooth as our home finished within 1 week of the initial projection. My wife and I made several modifications along the way and the HbJD team was able to accommodate those quickly. This was a huge advantage to working with HbJD. When building our “forever home” it is very difficult to know everything we wanted up front. Having the flexibility to implement changes along the way was a blessing. We also really enjoyed using their online communication/management tools to manage decisions and finances throughout the process. It is very user friendly and gives the homeowners a great hands on perspective.
Project Management We have nothing but great things to say about our project manager, Matt B. Although it was evident he has his hands full, he was very meticulous about following through with our questions and requests throughout the building process. He reassured us on important items and was quick to get subcontractor mistakes resolved. He deserves the highest accolades for the work he is doing.
Final Outcome We love our HbJD home!"
